What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate General Counsel position at Axos Bank?
- Provide legal counsel to the Bank and it's business units
- Supervise the work of outside counsel
- Draft, review, and edit contracts, including third party service agreements
- Minimize Bank risk
- Enforce the Bank's legal policies and ensure compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
- Support all Bank business units by providing efficient and effective legal counsel
- Additional Responsibilities as needed
- Graduate from top tier law school
- 10 years' major law firm or large corporation in-house experience
- 5 years' third-party service agreements
- California Bar membership with no disciplinary history
- Currently, and will remain, an active member, in good standing, of the State Bar of California, which the Bank will pay your basic annual dues for the California State Bar
- Commercial real estate and income property lending
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transaction documents
- Treasury Management, Deposit
- Compensation for this position includes a Semi-Annual Bonus Plan
