Prepare, organize and maintain Manufacturing Maintenance records to assure that all spare parts are properly identified and kept current. Support Manufacturing Maintenance/Engineering activities to initiate and complete changes. Maintain spare parts at satisfactory inventory level. Constantly work on maintenance stock inventory reduction to assure lowest cost and at the same time optimal inventory level of the stored parts. Suggest improvements and new minimal inventory levels based on constant monitoring of the inventory change and experience.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Effectively maintains the spare parts inventory system and its business processes.
- Supports machine maintenance and reliability initiatives.
- Uses CMMS system to control parts inventory for work orders.
- Liaises with purchasing and maintenance/engineering for scheduling parts and availability for all maintenance activities.
- Works with outside vendors for procurement and services

Constantly work on Maintenance Stock inventory reduction to assure lowest cost and at the same time optimize
inventory level of the stored parts - Actively participate in the training of maintenance personnel in the Spare Parts Computer System.
- Assist MSR management, coordinate department work schedule, and train new employees and other related activities.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
- Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
- Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.
- May require some limited judgement in resolving problems
- Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
Required:
- High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred
- 02-04 years related experience required.
- Ability to work non-stand schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed
