Purpose:
The Pool Attendant is responsible for greeting and issuing guests pool towels in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for greeting and responding to guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner, attending to guests pool-related needs including, but not limited to getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, confirming registration and issuing recreational equipment to the highest standards. Clean the pool area including, but not limited to, ashtrays, furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, slide tiles, rocks and cabanas. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
Essential Functions:
- Greet guests immediately with a sincere and friendly welcome. Assist guests their needs related to the pool area.
- Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of general pool area including emptying used pool towel bins, organizing pool furniture, collecting towels, and neatly arranging the pool towel storage shelves.
- Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, pool area. Responsible for monitoring product inventory in order to minimize the loss of resort property.
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one (1) year of relevant pool attendant and/or guest relations experience.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs):
Command of the English language both written and verbal. Well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to work beyond standard hours when necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the guests needs. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year hospitality experience.
