Blow Mold Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating injection molding machines. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality plastic components. The Injection Mold Operator will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their technical skills to maintain production standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
• Assemble and fabricate parts as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with logic controllers.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, as necessary for material handling.
• Document production data accurately and report any discrepancies or defects.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in injection molding or related fields.
• Familiarity with plastics extrusion processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate lathe machinery for part fabrication when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
