ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Pre-Underwriting Accountabilities:
- Assists on collection of primary financial information necessary to underwrite credit requests and insurance of complete loan application packages. This includes data provided by the client, as well as collection of internal relationship data necessary to complete a loan analysis such as loan and deposit relationship details
- Pulls any compliance and other third party related reports and does research necessary to process the loan application and ensures compliance with local, State and Federal regulations. (Flood, CIP, Property Tax Checks, UCC Searches, EDR’s etc.)
- Spreads business financial statements in Baker Hill/One Point. Also spreads personal financial statements in Excel
- Pulls credit bureaus, personal and business, as well as assisting in collection of industry background information
General Accountabilities:
- By completing preliminary underwriting duties ensures that the underwriting process is most efficient and effective

- Performs additional duties as requested
SBA Accountabilities:
- Under direction of Department Manager, provide support for SBA loan guaranty submissions through ‘E-Track’ system.
- Provide credit monitoring and other portfolio management functions to comply with SBA monitoring requirements on all SBA loans.
- Supports primary BSB SBA liaison and SBA on required quality control audits
- Provides required reporting to SBA, and assists with internal BSB SBA reporting.

- Assists in ensuring that the Bank is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations

- High school diploma or equivalent required. College Degree with emphasis in Business/Accounting/Finance preferred

- Strong personal computer skills required and specific familiarity with appropriate software preferred
- Ability to work with little supervision and make independent decisions.
