United Bank of Union is a local, community bank that has been serving our community for 90 years! We have a great opportunity for a motivated, community-oriented individual interested in a banking career to join our team as Loan Coordinator Specialist.
The Loan Coordinator Specialist will be responsible for providing support to the Loan Officer in the daily operations of the office; compile loan applications to ensure the completeness of the loan file. Extensive contact with customers and public both in person and on the telephone.
Essential duties:
- Assist customers with loan inquiries/needs and direct them to the appropriate individuals.
- Compile loan application and financial information to complete loan file.
- Prepare Credit Memo for Loan Officer approval as necessary.
- Monitor renewal maturity report for loans including update of customer information.
- Compose letters, emails, memos.
- Respond to inquiries in person, via telephone or email in a timely manner.
- Manage Loan Officer’s day-to-day calendar to include scheduling appointments, report due dates, and other pertinent dates to keep Loan Officer informed.
- Use current bank applications and software, and other various software such as word processing and spreadsheets.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Prepare necessary documentation for weekly loan committee meetings.
- Prepare necessary documentation for quarterly loan meetings.
- Assist with loan closings as requested by Loan Officer.
- Accountability for the establishment and following of procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory rules and regulations.
Qualifications
