Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our small HR team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing various HR functions and supporting our team . This position requires a strong understanding of human capital management, talent acquisition, and benefits administration, as well as the ability to leverage technology such as UKG. The Part-Time HR Generalist/HR Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting caregivers and other hospital staff by providing essential human resources services. This position will work closely with team members to build a cohesive, supportive, and high-performing work environment that aligns with our hospital's mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment processes.
- Manages strategic initiatives related to workforce development and employee engagement.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR decision-making and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems such as UKG.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures to management.
- Support training and development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Communication, law, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role, preferably within a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, particularly as they apply in California.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (experience with UKG is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Pay: $25.69 - $31.59 per hour
