What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Product Owner position at BASYS Processing?
POSITION SUMMARY
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Collaborate with Tech Team to define the vision for the teams Business Applications. Collaborate with prospective users (internal & external) to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into CRM product requirements and user stories. Oversee all stages of CRM product creation including design and development, monitoring and evaluating CRM product progress at each stage of the process. Strategically diagnose problems, identify possible solutions and collaborate with impacted groups to drive decisions. Be the continuing subject matter expert on all assigned products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Define acceptance criteria for features and user stories.
- Actively create, manage and prioritize the product backlog based on changing requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships working on assigned products for satisfactory performance executing on schedule and on budget.
- Facilitate and/or attend and participate in sprint ceremonies (Refinement, Sprint Planning, Demos etc.)
- Aggregate demand from different stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their problems to solution and communicate them effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
- CRM knowledge and background .
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with vendors, the product team, and end-users to deliver updates.
- Provide training and support to internal and external customers as assigned.
- Working knowledge of product development architecture.
- Any additional requirements as assigned by direct manger.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to three days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, or other related fields is preferred
- 1-2 Years of experience in business analysis and / or product support
- Knowledge of Bankcard industry and its procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM.
