What You Will Do:
Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic studies using established protocols while ensuring patient safety, imaging accuracy, and efficient workflow within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs nuclear medicine procedures according to unit-based standards of practice and protocols.
- Positions patients, operates equipment, and produces high-quality diagnostic data.
- Selects, prepares, and manages radiopharmaceuticals; maintains appropriate inventory.
- Performs and documents daily quality control testing and maintains radiation safety compliance.
- Explains procedures, reduces patient anxiety, and addresses adverse reactions appropriately.
- Communicates effectively with staff, radiologists, and physicians to support care delivery.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
