- Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Weekend Work: None
- On Call: No
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the laboratory staff within the department.
- In conjunction with the Facility Manager and/or Director, supervises the staff and assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Has direct responsibility for the testing within the department and works with the technical managers to assure staff competency and accurate test performance.
- Assists or performs new test validations.
- Performs routine tests when needed.
- Assists in the troubleshooting of problems with tests, instruments and sample delivery.
- Works to assure proper turnaround times and accurate reports.
- May supervise direct reports to with team resources tasks including employment, counseling's, and annual evaluations.
- Assists the Facility Managers with duties associated with team resources, quality reporting, infectious disease reporting, education and marketing.
- Assists in processing expense and billing information to the appropriate departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:
- Required - 4 years Clinical Laboratory or related field
Education:
- Required - Bachelor's in Biological Science or Clinical Science related area
Certification:
- Required - Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License
