Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor dietary plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents or clients
- Supervise and coordinate the dietary staff, including dietitians, cooks, and support personnel
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create personalized nutrition plans
- Manage inventory, procurement, and budgeting for dietary supplies and equipment
- Conduct regular staff training on dietary standards, safety procedures, and new nutritional guidelines
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of dietary services and implement improvements as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to dietary services and compliance
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or a related field; registered dietitian (RD) certification preferred
- Proven experience in dietary management, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or institutional settings
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and sanitation standards
