Pay Range: $20/ph-$22/ph

Job Description:

Collaborate with Workstation Support Services to manage hardware/software orders and installations.

Configure, label, and document equipment according to organizational specifications and standards.

Independently handle on-site installations, relocations, repairs, and customer service requests.

Act as a liaison between IT support services (Help Desk, Applications, Materials Management, etc.) and end users.

Provide basic end-user training and explain procedures related to hardware/software requirements, scheduling, and repair options.

Maintain and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and parts for installations and repairs.

Ensure compliance with IT security policies during equipment processing.

Support may include overtime and on-call responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of professional customer service experience in desktop computing support (PC, Macintosh, hardware, peripherals, OS configuration, and software installation).

Preferred: Associate's degree or Technical School training (2 years) in Computers, Technology, Electronics, or related fields.

Skills:

Proficiency in supporting desktop PC hardware/software. Must have done refresh project work and have great attention to detail.

Understanding of operating systems, hardware configuration, and software installation.

Strong customer service orientation.

Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Languages:

Fluent in English (Read, Write, Speak).

Capacity to manage equipment inventories effectively.

Flexibility to work overtime or participate in on-call duties as needed
