Duties/Responsibilities:
- Completes the hiring, onboarding, annual reviews, schedule, timesheet and PTO approval, training, discipline and coaching of Clinical Staff.
- Oversees clinical staffing matters, including training, development, and engagement.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates oncology program goals and activities to execute day to day operations of the clinical teams.
- Responsible for clinic flow and cohesiveness of clinical departments.
- Creates and ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures to promote safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Assesses, monitors, and educates all clinical staff on standards of patient care, instituting emergency procedures as necessary.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Analyzes and implements strategies to improve job satisfaction, job retention and morale of clinical team members.
- Liaison between clinical team members and administrative team.
- Leads biweekly clinical department meetings.
- Performs limited hands-on clinical duties (there may be clinical responsibilities when the unit is short-staffed).
- Participates in collaboration and leadership throughout the clinic.
- Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Compassionate and caring bedside manner.
- Motivational Managerial Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Education:
- Associate degree in nursing required, BSN strongly preferred.
- Idaho RN License, required upon hire.
- CPR/BLS certification, required upon hire.
