About the Role:
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the client's program by applying analytical thinking to diagnose systems, recommend solutions, and manage key processes. You will work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide leadership in project planning to ensure organizational goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and Recommend: Apply analytical skills to diagnose systems, incorporate business and technology knowledge, and translate user discussions into actionable business requirements.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for Crown Jewel assets, ensuring seamless lifecycle management.
- Data Flow Mapping: Map and update Crown Jewels data flows to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Data Analysis and Documentation: Use tools to collect, correlate, and analyze data, maintaining technical documentation for operating and instruction manuals.
- Testing and Implementation: Assist in developing testing strategies, conduct tests, and deliver preliminary findings to support system implementations.
- Standards and Procedures: Contribute to the development of standards and procedures, preparing detailed written reports.
- Problem-Solving: Independently determine approaches and solutions for problems within your scope, leveraging precedents and causal relationships.
- Training and Leadership: Train team members as needed, provide leadership in project planning, and actively participate in client or team meetings with actionable suggestions.
- Project Management: Monitor and organize technical and business support staff efforts, manage projects to meet milestones, and guide less experienced staff.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of technical experience or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, preferably in Business Systems Analysis or Cybersecurity.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in systems testing and IT implementation.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust, listen actively, and ask effective questions.
- Project Leadership: Strong track record of effective project leadership, delivering positive results, and self-managing time and priorities.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify business/system needs, and recommend innovative solutions.
