Manager of Professional Development
Location: Hybrid in Boston (onsite 3 days/week)
Our client, a mid-size law firm in Boston, is seeking a Manager of Professional Development. This role will be responsible for managing the legal training curriculum, summer associate training, and continuing legal education programs, among other initiatives.
Some responsibilities include:
- Partnering with firm leadership to assess learning needs
- Identifying new material, providers, and programming
- Managing the legal training content and summer associate training, including the development of curriculum and programming, leading planning sessions, and overseeing program logistics
- Monitoring and implementing current trends and best practices in professional development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years of experience in professional development (law firm or professional services firm experience strongly preferred)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced environment
