Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr. Shift and Schedule: 6 - 12 Hour Day Shift, 7 - 12 Hour Night Shift, 8 - 12 Hour Flex Shift Schedule: 12.5 Hour Shifts - Both Day and Night positions are available

What can I expect as a Direct Support Professional?
- 3-4 Day work week with 12.5-hour shifts

Responsibilities:
What will my day-to-day look like as a Direct Support Professional?
- Provide opportunities through the day to help residents meet their goals.
- Adhere to the person-centered plans, and behavior plans as written for each resident.
- Provide quality of care and safe and healthy setting free from harm while upholding the rights of all residents. Create a space of trust and relationship with all residents.
- Cook meals as necessary for residents based upon food specifications, diets, food exchanges and documentation.
- Transport residents and attend appointments, advocate, and obtain necessary documentation, when needed.
- Assist with supervision of residents doing their laundry and complete facility laundry as needed.
- Administer medications to residents as needed.
- Must remain awake and immediately accessible in all homes requiring 24/7 care.
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Ability to work in an environment with the potential for exposure to physical aggression
from individuals served. - Ability to physically and emotionally work with individuals who possess mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
