Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Budtender to join our team. As a Lead Budtender, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations during shifts, ensuring all team members take their breaks and lunches.
You will manage discounts and pricing issues in the Point of Sale (POS) system, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and prepare it for customers at the start of your shift. You will also open the store as needed, ensure cash drawers are prepared and balanced for the day, and close the store when required, including reconciling cash in the drawer, safe, and ATM.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and cash handling, previous retail management experience is a significant advantage, and familiarity with the cannabis industry is a huge plus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide professional assistance
- Oversee daily operations during shifts, ensuring all team members take their breaks and lunches
- Manage discounts and pricing issues in the POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Open the store as needed, ensuring cash drawers are prepared and balanced for the day

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Previous retail and cash handling experience
- Previous cannabis industry experience is a huge plus
- Ability to accurately count both paper money and coins
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
- Communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills
- Ability to motivate staff with regards to staying on task, providing great customer service, and selling our cool products
