Job Description:
As a Family Nurse Practitioner at our Urgent Care center, you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients of all ages with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. You will work a rotating schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend.
Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients
- Perform routine medical procedures, including vaccinations and injections
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or related field
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
