Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in delivering quality patient care to residents of all ages. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to provide compassionate and personalized care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate resident needs, developing effective care plans that cater to their unique requirements
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring resident safety and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional interdisciplinary care
- Counsel residents, family members, and advocates on prevention and treatment plans, promoting resident education and self-care
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with a strong foundation in nursing principles
- Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements
