Job Summary

The Veteran Housing Program Director will oversee the administration of supportive services, including outreach, rental assistance, and case management, with the goal of promoting housing stability for veterans at-risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Develop processes and coordinate service delivery across teams to ensure compliance with program requirements and grant regulations.
- Oversight: Provide administrative oversight for all programmatic requirements, including knowledge of housing vouchers, reporting, and outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Lead two teams working directly with veterans across Salt Lake County to locate, secure, and retain affordable permanent housing.
Requirements:
- Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience. At least two years of management experience preferred.
- Key Skills: Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diverse populations; ability to contribute to the agency's commitment to enhancing awareness and appreciation of diverse ethnic and cultural heritages.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 15 pounds; ability to stand and walk for at least an hour at a time; valid driver's license required.
