Job Title
A Street Maintenance Specialist is required to perform a variety of duties including road repair, maintenance, and labor tasks.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and maintaining streets, sidewalks, and other public facilities
- Assisting with concrete replacement and repairing including sidewalks, curbs, gutters, pathways, and trails
- Installing and repairing street signs
- Maintaining stormwater systems and performing litter and weed removal
The ideal candidate will have experience working in variable weather conditions and be able to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with light equipment operation or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Utah CDL within one year
- First aid, CPR, AED, flagger certification, and traffic control technician certifications within one year
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to work in variable weather conditions and perform physical labor. Tasks regularly involve walking, standing, stooping, sitting, reaching, climbing, and lifting.
Salary : $35,000 - $55,000
