SUMMARYEnterprise Business Systems Test Facility (EBS-TF) Lab supports hosting, system administration, and test & evaluation of defense business systems. Lab and hosting support consists of maintaining existing lab infrastructure, software, and tools, supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer and other internal or external customers testing or interfacing with the EBS – TF systems. This work also includes development and research of new test infrastructure and capabilities with engineering, software development, systems administration along with Information Assurance (IA) activities necessary to be successful. The EBS – TF at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) maintains dedicated lab space and over 200 devices comprising of multiple systems test configurations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assists in administering the security of organization's on-premise or off-premise (but not cloud) computer systems and networks. Implements and maintains firewalls and security patches. Reviews and analyzes security alerts, bulletins, and vendor notifications for applicability to organization's platforms and systems. Identifies network vulnerabilities and recommends remedial actions. Tests security products to ensure effectiveness. Tests patches in a controlled environment and implements across the network. May conduct security training programs. Requires experience with on-premise or off-premise network and firewalls, intrusion detection technologies, and secure virtual private network solutions.

Environmental Conditions

· Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands

· Light – 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls.
