Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
This is a Nursing Service position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. New graduates must have a temporary license in the state of Utah or be in their last semester of a nursing program.
The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process
- Utilize assessment skills to identify the needs of patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred
- Current valid Utah nursing license or compact state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
