Job Summary

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) implements accurate, safe, patient centric anesthetic care. The CRNA cultivates a patient-centric environment which focuses on the whole individual inclusive of physical, psychosocial, spiritual and functional needs of the patient, family, and significant others.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program, Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist Council on accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs
• License: Current State of Connecticut Nursing License, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the State of Connecticut
• Experience: Prefer clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line recommended

Special Skills

• Sharp concentration and focus, ability to stay calm under stressful conditions
• Clear communication skills with surgeons and surgical team, patients, and families

Physical Demands

• Ideal vision, hearing, and tactile sensation
• Motor function to elicit pertinent information, stand for long periods, wear lead for fluoroscopy, X-Ray cases
• Lift 25 pounds, move self/patients between anesthesia locations

Key Qualifications:

1. Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program;
2. Current State of Connecticut Nursing License; and
3. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the State of Connecticut.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line;

Salary : $150,000 - $210,000
