Medical Director/Psychiatrist
We seek a Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wickenburg, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer, nursing and therapy leadership in programming development.
- Provides supervision to psychiatrists and psychiatric NPs under their supervision.
- Collaborate with Admissions department to review and prepare potential admissions.
- Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.
- Maintain current progress notes.
- Communicate with referring providers and family members as needed.
- Contribute individualized notes for Discharge Planning.
- Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility and the practice of Psychiatry.
Essential Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with active Medical License.
- Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work on site; we can arrange training if needed.
- Two years of clinical experience desired.
- Valid DEA certificate (or be eligible for DEA privileges).
- Experience in Residential or Inpatient levels of care is preferred.
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
