Job Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of inmates referred by medical and clinical services staff.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of medical school with completion of a psychiatric residency program.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Mississippi.
- Certified by the Office of Behavioral Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit.
