Beck Industrial has a position available for an Assembly Worker – Chassis Prep
Essential Functions:
- Inspects and tests electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections and testing devices
- Reassembles and tests equipment after repairs
- Splices wires with knives or cutting pliers
- Installs electrical cables as required
- Locates and removes or repairs circuit defects or malfunctioning transistors
- Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective wiring and relays in ignition and safety control systems using electrician’s tools
- Refers to schematics and specifications that show connections and provides instructions on how to locate problems
- Cuts openings and drills holes for fixtures, outlet boxes, and fuse holders, using electric drills and routers
- Measures, cuts, and installs frameworks and conduits to support and connect wiring, control panels, and junction boxes, using hand tools
- Installs electrical equipment such as ignition systems and components, using hand tools
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 years of experience in automotive audio/camera installation
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail with good organization skills while working with deadlines
- Ability to be at work as scheduled
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing (English)
Physical Conditions & Work Environment:
- Position requires working in a shop environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Ability to use hands, fingers, bend, stoop, crawl, twist, stretch, see, hear, and to stand up to 10 hours a day
- Ability to work overtime

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
