Environmental Services
Daily cleaning of areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the department. Housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities for a large healthcare facility. Will use necessary equipment, products/supplies, and follow safety practices. Entry level, will train.

The successful candidate will have cleaning skills, an excellent work ethic, and work well with the elderly.

Hours: Monday-Friday days (7am-3pm), with rotating weekends

Essential Competencies:

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using required methods.
• Dust horizontal surfaces
• Empty waste baskets and remove trash
• Clean and polish bathroom fixtures
• Spot clean walls and windows
• Dry and wet mop hard surface floors
• Replenish paper and hand soap
• Supply clean linen

Working Conditions:

• On feet most of the day. Stoops and reaches in performing tasks.

Must have ability to follow instructions and perform essential duties of the job. Dress according to department standard.
