Our Onboarding Assistant position plays a critical role in our company and we need an individual with excellent customer service skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and a knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Availability: Full Time (Monday - Friday 40 hours a week)
Location: El Segundo, CA
Compensation: $20.00 per/hour
How will you help create a World Without Limits:
- Create new hire accounts, maintain onboarding tracker, assign tasks as appropriate.
- Conduct welcome meetings with new hires.
- Send out welcome e-mail that outlines each onboarding task due dates.
- Ensure that all onboarding documents are submitted by new hire.
- Monitor new hire checklist items for full completion and provide trouble shooting support as needed.
- Run background checks and follow up with background check vendor as needed.
- Conduct SAMS, OIG Medicaid checks confirm
- Support TB test process.
- Maintain accurate data entry records.
- Effectively interface with other departments, e.g. Recruitment, HR, IT, Training, Client Services, etc.
- Complete E-verify and update I-9 form accordingly.
- Assist with projects and routine tasks, such as college marketing opportunities, refreshing requisitions, etc.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to support staff company wide
- Excellent organizational skills with strong ability to multi-task
- Superior attention to detail
- Proficiency in self managing time and priorities
- Excellent customer service – must have superior communication skills over the phone and via email
- Collaborative attitude with team-oriented outlook
- Ability to build strategic working relationships
- At least one year of onboarding/HR experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not necessary
- A professional, yet friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
