Your role at BHSN:
As a Facilitator at BHSN, you will help in facilitating weekly group meetings that provide education designed to stop violent behavior.

What your day might look like:
- Provide psychoeducational group services to PACT clients based on approved program curriculum and periodic evaluation
- Keep the group focused on the issues of violence, abuse, control and change
- Facilitate reflective/critical thinking
- Maintain an atmosphere that is supportive, challenging and non-collusive
- Provide new information and teach non-controlling relationship skills
- Facilitate a healthy group process
- Communicate clients’ growth to the Program Director
- Participate in staff trainings and meetings, as required
- Perform active role-play during class
- Uphold and communicate the PACT program of accountability and responsible behavior
- Additional duties as assigned within scope of job description
Your skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human service field is required
- Ability to project a professional self-image; i.e. non-judgmental, caring, compassionate and fair
- Strong communication, engagement and teaching skills required
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people required
- Prior experience in domestic violence services preferred
- Reliable transportation required for local travel
