Are you passionate about helping individuals learn skills that promote independence and confidence? NCSS is seeking an Academy of Learning (AOL) Facilitator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll help guide and inspire participants through engaging classes, hands-on activities, and meaningful community experiences.
Our Academy of Learning program provides opportunities for individuals to build life skills through cooking, art, health and wellness, social skills, and more. As a Facilitator, you will be at the heart of this program—creating a structured, supportive environment where every participant can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist with AOL classes and activities, ensuring a structured and inclusive group environment.
- Support lesson planning, including coordinating supplies, materials, transportation, and interpreters.
- Foster community involvement by connecting participants with resources that promote independence.
- Collaborate with team members, families, and other supports to meet participant needs.
- Manage documentation and billing accurately and on time.

Hiring rate is based on experience, education, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with NCSS policy and applicable laws.
