Your role at BHSN:
To assist eligible candidates secure and maintain safe affordable housing. Position works with OMH Supported Housing clients, HUD Housing individuals, and Homesteads on Ampersand clients.

What your day might look like:
- Complete assessments to identify residents’ needs and connect/link to services accordingly
- Provide rehabilitative tenancy support services as outlined in OMH Supported Housing guidelines and documents all services accurately and timely
- Complete inspections of units to ensure dwelling is safe and meets Housing Quality Standards (HQS)
- Work with private landlords in the community as well as HOA Property Management to help secure apartments
- Performs job duties as assigned within the scope of this description
Your skills and qualifications:
- Associates degree in relevant Human Services OR High School diploma and 3 years-experience in human services required
- Valid NYS driver’s license with driving record acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier required
- Reliable transportation to travel locally
- Good computer/data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs, bend and climb stairs required
