JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain high volume of accounts receivable records
* Keep clear and legible notes on AR Aging as well as in the company ERP system accessible to all teammates
* Maintain Current AR Aging through collection efforts by contacting customers via email, telephone, and customer portals
* Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
* Work closely with the Sales team when identifying any issues that may impact cash receipts.
* Communicate discrepancies to manager, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates
* Daily Cash Application, Sending invoices to Customers, Account reconciliations
* Work closely with RMA department to identify RMA issues that may impact cash receipts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma OR
* An equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
* 3 years of B2B Manufacturing AR experience (Preferably in Gov/Aerospace)
* Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
* Excellent time management and detail orientation
* Excellent research, problem solving and follow-up skills
* Excellent internal and external customer service skills
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, TEAMS). Excel a must doing formulas and VLookup
* Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize changing situations
* Capable of multi-tasking at a high level of efficiency while maintaining deadlines
* Understanding the working knowledge of other department processes and procedures and how they associate with AR
* Experience with an ERP Systems, Microsoft Great Plains, EPICOR, FileMaker
