Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 12 Months contract (Potential Temp to Perm)
Payrate: $21/hr.
Shift:
Weekend shift; Saturday-Tuesday; (7am-5:30pm)
Weekends shift; Thursday-Sunday; (5pm-3:30am)
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis and tests of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Conducts in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
- Records test results on batch tickets and in company’s computer operating system.
- Organizes and maintains quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches and raw material champions.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests.
- Sets up, adjusts, verifies, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain housekeeping of the working place
- Respect the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy
- Evaluates retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
- Performs 5S audits or other audits according to a plan.
- Support all Quality Control related initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two-year technical degree preferred (Quality, Engineering, or other sciences) or 3 years of related experience and/or training.
- 2 years of analytical laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Collaborates with team members and has excellent interpersonal skills.
