What are the responsibilities and job description for the Little Knights School-Age Aide position at Belding Area Schools?
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Experience in early childhood programs (preferred)
· Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire, and effective work ethic.
· Must have fingerprints scanned electronically and submitted to Belding Area Schools and Childcare Licensing.
· Ability to cooperate and effectively communicate with parents and staff members
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
· Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings.
· Provide medical services as needed.
· Comply with LARA requirements (Ex. First Aid, CPR, SafeSchools, etc.)
· Perform other related duties as directed by Director.
Essential Duties:
· Assist with getting children off and on Bus
· Ensure safety and well-being of each child
· Attend all required trainings
· Establish and maintain rapport with students, families, faculty, etc.
· Help with bathrooms, diapers, and snack time
· Perform additional duties as requested
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.05 - $15.17 per hour
