Beltrami County is creating an eligibility list for a full-time, benefited Case Aide to work in the Health & Human Services Consolidated Intake office, scheduling appointments, working closely with case managers and answering client questions across all programs.

Education and Experience
Minimum requirements are:
- One year of post-secondary education in business, clerical, administrative support, behavioral science or public welfare programs and
- Three years of clerical, administrative assistant, office manager, case aide or related work experience.
Job offer contingent upon successfully passing a drug screening and background check.

Essential Functions
Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates, service providers and the general public.Reviews applications for County Health and Human Services Programs; ensures completion and verification.
Responds to client phone case status inquires, answers process questions and routes customer calls to appropriate unit or case workers.Receives and organizes client paperwork per compliance requirements and processing deadlines; maintains client case files.
Pre-screens clients to obtain and verify information; explains programs and procedures; provides application forms; assists clients and provides on-going support with application problem resolution.
Responds to client phone case status inquiries and complaints, answers process questions; enters and processes applications via computer systems.
Maintains application forms; processes audit requests; completes ongoing program training.

Physical Requirements
