How You Will Make An Impact
- Ensuring execution of calibration and PM activities are on time, to standard & with minimal impact on operations.
- Providing performance evaluations, recommending promotions, interpreting, and applying organization policies, and monitoring and resolving employee situations.
- Overseeing activities of subordinates, ensuring a productive work environment and completing department objectives in accordance with quality standards, time, and budget constraints.
- Maintaining calibration records, work orders and computerized management system entries in an orderly and accurate manner in compliance with cGMP's.
- Writing and revising department SOP’s, including Incidents and Investigations.
- Supporting CAPA and change control assessments and completions.
- Sourcing and purchasing of equipment and supply to support the metrology department.
- Supporting Site expansion projects.
- Focusing on resource development and process improvements.
- Other accountabilities as assigned Advanced knowledge of calibration procedures and techniques specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Reading, interpreting, and troubleshooting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics with assistance when needed.
- Associates or BS degree in a related discipline desired.
- 15 years’ experience in a cGMP or other FDA regulated operations desired.
- Knowledge of calibration procedures and techniques specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience working with calibration or metrology in a regulated environment.
- In depth experience and knowledge of metrology and calibration with an ability to deal with complex processes and procedures.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
- Provides technical information in support of OOT assessments
- Advanced knowledge of calibration procedures and techniques specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics with assistance when needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience applying these skills to resolve technical problems.
- Strong skills and experience in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
