POSITION: Host/Hostess/Food Runner (Part-Time)

Club is open 6 days per week, 12 months per year.
PURPOSE: As a Host/Hostess/Food Runner, you will create a welcoming environment for our members and guests. This role involves managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, processing payments, and efficiently delivering food to tables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with reservations for club functions.
- Greet guests promptly and seat them, managing waitlists as needed.
- Process payments accurately and promote teamwork with other departments.
- Handle take-out orders and answer phone inquiries.
- Clear and reset tables, assist with opening tasks, and maintain dining area cleanliness.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any order discrepancies.
- Address guest complaints and special requests efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and club operations, and secure the clubhouse at the end of shifts.
- Attend all Service Training Meetings and support team members as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as our community thrives during these times.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform various physical tasks.
- Must have good vision and clear communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a fine dining setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional appearance are essential.
