Job Summary :
The Tax Intern provides high-quality accounting and tax services for clients. These tax services include the preparation of tax returns for both corporations and individuals. The Tax Intern works closely with all managers and staff.
Responsibilities :
- Prepares income tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals.
- Quantifies and documents federal and state income tax liabilities for tax returns, extensions and estimated payments
- Responds to client inquiries.
- Keeps up-to-date on current accounting practices and changes in tax law
- Maintains confidentiality of the firm and its clients
