An award-winning boutique architecture studio specializing in high-end residential projects is looking for a talented and self-motivated Intermediate Designer to work on projects from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Will work in all phases of design, from concept to completion
- Part of a small internal design team, working on production and deliverables on several projects concurrently
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors directly to predict and resolve any design issues
- Utilize creativity and good design eye to maintain design intent through all phases
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
- 3-5 years' professional experience
- Strong hand drawing skills
- Architecture licensure preferred but not essential
- Past experience in ground-up, high-end residential projects
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and procedures (NYC & Hamptons)
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting abilities
- Proficiency in 3D programs (Sketch-up/Rhino) and graphics software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
