What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Director position at Bethesda Care Centre?
- Communicate with department heads concerning payroll matters
- Remove and close out terminated employee's personnel file from active employment records when terminated. Notify payroll company.
- All active employee files must be accurate and up to date with all relevant information
- Assist employees in obtaining information concerning their payroll data, deductions, overtime, etc., as necessary.
- Assist with Administration of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), LOA's, ADA
- Maintaining OSHA 300a form
- Ensure the workmen's compensation requests are reported to the Administrator and answered in a timely manner
- Ensure unemployment requests are reported to the administrator and answered in a timely manner. Maintain an unemployment log
- Hiring
o Posting and Responding for all departments
o Interview Set up
o Files (incl. TB, Physical, Registry Check, Fingerprint log, Covid test)
o Onboarding
Ensure all licensed personnel have an active license and is verified by the appropriate agency
- Ensure all Nurses have an active CPR certification
