Fresh Products has an immediate opening for an entry-level Human Resource Coordinator to join our Perrysburg, OH Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging with people, eager to learn, and has a positive approach to solving problems. This role will be the first point of contact for our associates to help answer questions and create an engaging experience for our associates. This role will also be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and supporting workplace safety.
Hourly Staffing
- Drive efforts for recruiting, interviewing, and process for hourly operations to meet staffing targets.
- Own internal job movement and interview process with a focus on consistent processes and engaging experience for the associates.
- Focused efforts to ensure an engaging and meaningful experience during the recruiting, interview, and onboarding process.
Safety
- Support the administration of the safety program, with input on review of program processes, policies, and documentation.
- Contribute to the calendar and member of the safety committee and audit team. Engage with new safety committee members and partner with department leaders to execute and follow up on action items.
- Partner with department leaders to complete safety incident analysis with action plan and regular reporting on improvements or corrective action taken.
- Partner with department leaders to provide a safe work environment and communicate safety flashes when appropriate.
Human Resources
- Support the apprenticeship program and partnering with local institutes to build curriculum, work with local officials to support grant funding, and guide apprentices during their education.
- Partner with supervisors in employee relation discussions including but not limited to training reviews, coaching, and investigations.
- Maintain and participate in developing HR metrics to support data driven decision making.
- Administers human resources plans and procedures for all company associates; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Maintains Human Resource Information System records (ADP) and other records helps drive continued improvement to increase HR operational efficiencies.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Maintain confidentiality on all matters.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
