Ultrasound Tech
Full-Time, Second Shift
$30,000.00 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates
Job Description:
- Provides health care services by applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis.
- Performs Sonography procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner.
- Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
- Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in Sonography or equivalent.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or eligible.
- Required ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB-Gyn. If not certified upon hire, must obtain certifications within one (1) year of hire.
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
