Junior Business Analyst - Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Job Duties:
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their business processes and requirements.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather and review information.
- Documentation and Analysis:
- Document detailed business processes related to the customer billing system.
- Analyze current access controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop comprehensive documentation of requirements for role-based access control (RBAC).
- RBAC Development:
- Assist in designing and implementing RBAC within the customer billing system.
- Work closely with IT and security teams to ensure proper integration and functionality of RBAC.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance security and efficiency.
- Ensure that all business processes comply with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Testing and Validation:
- Participate in testing to validate the implementation of RBAC.
- Document and address any issues or discrepancies found during testing.
- Training and Support:
- Assist in creating training materials for end-users on the new RBAC system.
- Provide support to stakeholders during the transition to the new access control process.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of identity and access management principles.
- Familiarity with financial financial internal controls related to Sarbanes Oxley Section 404.
- Familiarity with customer billing systems is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related work experience.
- Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) implementation.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to IAM.
- Proficiency in documentation and process mapping tools.
