International financial services company seeks a Senior Accountant in San Diego, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze and implement
new accounting standards: ASC842 and ASC606
- Adhere to USGAAP
principles
- Ensure internal controls
are applied throughout the organization
- Have strong
understandings of general accounting and leasing accounting
- Conduct weekly, monthly,
and annual reconciliation of GL accounts with sub-ledgers
- Manage schedule
accordingly
- Will be required to
work OT to meet accounting cycles
- Reconcile financial
discrepancies
- Report and analyze
monthly financial results to the Manager
- Draft financial
statements
- Assists in audit process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent experience
- US GAAP – more than 5 years
- CPA License Holder or Candidate
- Be able to identify accounting errors and independently find solutions with minimal supervision
- Time management, work-load planning
- Strong leadership abilities including communication and interpersonal skills
