What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Black Mountain Home For Children?
Description
Case management for up to fifteen youth of all ages and genders in our Christian residential cottages.
Some duties include but not limited to:
- Arrange services for youth
- Scheduling appointments
- Facilitate team meetings
- Maintain youth files to meet licensing standards
Some on call responsibilities are required a few times a year. Must be willing to provide coverage of the houses in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an appropriately accredited institution; bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience; bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Social Worker II)
- Previous experience working with children in a residential setting is desirable, but not required.
- Flexibility, patience, and a desire to change lives for the better.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
