Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper alignment and settings for each job.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate bending processes.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Utilize hand tools and other equipment as necessary for machining tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proficiency in quality inspection techniques to ensure product accuracy.
- Experience with CNC machinery is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding processes is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining is advantageous.
- Experience operating cranes for material handling is beneficial.
- Skills in plasma cutting are desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
