As we prepare for full state licensure, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Treatment Director to lead our clinical programming and team.
Position Overview
The Treatment Director will oversee the development, implementation, and supervision of all clinical services. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of care and ensuring compliance with state guidelines, especially during our pre-licensure phase. The right candidate will be capable of supporting our growth and helping secure and maintain full licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations of the treatment program
- Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff (therapists, case managers, interns)
- Ensure clinical documentation meets state and internal standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop treatment protocols and program strategies
- Participate in quality assurance and compliance efforts, especially for licensing
- Support and supervise pre-licensed clinicians (if fully licensed)
- Provide direct therapeutic services as needed
- Assist with staffing, training, and onboarding of clinical team members
- Stay current with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Credential Requirements – LADC or LPCC
We are seeking a highly qualified candidate who holds either of the following licenses:
LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor):
An LADC is a licensed professional with specialized training in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders. Candidates must have completed a state-approved substance abuse education program, acquired supervised clinical experience, and passed a national certification exam. LADCs are skilled in providing individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, and working with clients on recovery and relapse prevention strategies.
LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor):
An LPCC is a licensed mental health professional with a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field. LPCCs are trained to provide mental health counseling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals dealing with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and co-occurring disorders. LPCCs must complete significant clinical training and pass a national clinical exam. Experience in substance use or dual-diagnosis treatment is highly preferred.
