Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple active landscape construction sites. This person will ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, direct crews, ensure safety compliance, and serve as a vital link between the field and project management/design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field operations for residential and commercial landscape construction projects
- Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain schedule
- Oversee layout, grading, drainage, hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting, and structures
- Enforce safety standards, site cleanliness, and compliance with local codes and company policies
- Perform site walkthroughs to ensure work meets plans, specs, and quality standards
- Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, and Clients to resolve issues in real-time
- Maintain detailed site documentation, reports, and daily logs
- Support punch list completion and close-out processes
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in landscape construction or general construction supervision
- Strong knowledge of site work, grading, drainage, hardscape, masonry, planting, and irrigation
- Experience reading and interpreting landscape architecture and construction plans
- Excellent leadership, communication, and scheduling skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (vehicle stipend or truck provided)
