Blue & Co., LLC is currently seeking a Chargemaster and Revenue Integrity Consultant to join our revenue cycle team. This position’s core functions are to assist our team with a variety of CDM related projects, including CDM and charge capture reviews; implementation/maintenance services; education and training to hospital finance and clinical department leadership.
The successful candidate will have a sense of urgency, ability to maintain multiple client engagements at one time, a consultative mindset as a trusted advisor and service provider, a strong relationship orientation, creative problem-solving skills, and an objective yet persuasive approach.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of CDM maintenance experience, or clinical experience with charge capture responsibilities, cardiac cath, respiratory therapy, nursing, etc.
- Coding certification (CPC, CCS, etc.) or become certified after employment.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations impacting the CDM revenue cycle.
- Experience with hospital systems, such as EPIC, Meditech, Cerner, CPSI, etc.
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities of multiple projects.
- Enjoys working with a highly functional team.
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction.
- Travel of up to 5-10% overnight, mostly to regional clients, prospects, or events.
- Lives within our core Blue & Co. region: Indianapolis, IN (preferred); Cincinnati, OH; Louisville KY; Columbus, OH.
